How do I make a check deposit request?
You must have an active SnapMailbox account in good standing before making a check deposit request. Your bank must support mail-in deposits and the name on the check must match the name tied to your account. Before submitting any requests, make sure to connect your existing bank account to your SnapMailbox account.
To request a mail-in check deposit, choose for us to open and scan the contents of the envelope containing your check(s). We will upload a scanned image to your account and send an email notification. You can then request check deposits straight from your email or through your account. Requests will be sent out within one business day.
Is there an additional fee for the check deposit service?
The check deposit service is available at an affordable rate as part of your SnapMailbox package. Each check deposit request includes a $5 usage fee, with a discount available for checks grouped together. Additional checks can be added for $1 each.
How do I know if my bank supports mail-in deposits?
Our check deposit service is supported by Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, HSBC, and Wells Fargo. If your bank isn’t listed, please contact their customer service team to see if mail-in check deposits are supported before placing an order.
How do you keep my mailed checks private?

All of our physical addresses implement security measures in line with USPS standards, and we screen all employees and restrict access to physical mail. International shipments may require inspection, but almost all mail remains unopened unless you tell us to scan the contents. How long does it take for my checks to be deposited?
Check deposit requests will be sent out within one business day. Your bank will typically receive, process, and deposit the money into your account within a week of our shipment date.
