Can SnapMailbox accept Certified Mail?
Answer
It may be accepted when the location and approval allow it. Certified Mail and Restricted Delivery are not the same. Restricted Delivery requires the proper approval on Form 1583, and location limits may still apply.
General information
Forwarding is a new shipment after the first item reaches the mailbox company.
Postage and handling are separate. Size, carrier, country, customs, and banned-item rules may apply.
The carrier and shipping service control tracking and claims.
Service steps to consider
Check the item, delivery address, name, and postal code before asking for shipment.
Choose a shipping service with the tracking or cover you need.
Keep the request and tracking record until delivery is confirmed.
How SnapMailbox can help
SnapMailbox's forwarding tools are built around situations like this one. Requesting a forward starts inside your account, where you choose the item, confirm the destination, and see the estimated cost before committing to anything. Because postage and carrier rules vary by size, weight, and destination, pricing for a request like this can differ from a typical letter or small package, and the request screen is designed to make that clear rather than surprising you at checkout. Once a shipment goes out, tracking details are added to your account so you can watch its progress the same way you would for any package. If a forwarding request needs special attention, support can review the specific item and destination with you directly.
Important limits
A shipment may be refused when the item, carrier, country, or law does not allow it.
