Can every item be forwarded internationally?

Answer

No. Hazardous, banned, restricted, sanctioned, or destination-barred items cannot be shipped. An eligible package cannot move until any details required by customs or the carrier are supplied.

General information

Forwarding is a new shipment after the first item reaches the mailbox company.

Postage and handling are separate. Size, carrier, country, customs, and banned-item rules may apply.

The carrier and shipping service control tracking and claims.

Service steps to consider

Check the item, delivery address, name, and postal code before asking for shipment.

Choose a shipping service with the tracking or cover you need.

Keep the request and tracking record until delivery is confirmed.

How SnapMailbox can help

This is a core part of how SnapMailbox's package forwarding service works. Items received at your mailbox, whether from USPS or a private carrier like FedEx or UPS, can typically be forwarded to any address you choose, domestic or international, subject to standard carrier rules and restrictions. Pricing includes a handling fee on top of the actual shipping cost, and tracking information is provided once a shipment is on its way so you can follow progress the same way you would with any online order. For something specific like this, the forwarding request screen in your account usually shows the relevant options and any limitations up front. Support is available if a shipment needs special handling or if something about the process doesn't look right.

Important limits

A shipment may be refused when the item, carrier, country, or law does not allow it.

Customs and carrier rules can change by item and destination.
