Can I file a USPS change of address from SnapMailbox after canceling?

Answer

No. USPS rules prohibit both the former customer and the CMRA from filing a change-of-address order from the CMRA address after the agency relationship ends. Give the company a remail address when required and update each sender directly.

General information

Plan, renewal, refund, storage, and cancellation rules can affect your account and paper mail.

Canceling does not update senders or make USPS forward mail from the CMRA address.

Keep your email, payment method, remail address, and contact details up to date.

Service steps to consider

Review the account screen and terms before changing or canceling service.

Handle stored mail, open charges, and sender updates before the end date.

Keep item numbers, tracking records, and support messages.

How SnapMailbox can help

SnapMailbox's account and billing tools are built to make this part of your virtual mailbox subscription simple. Billing details, plan information, and account settings are all managed from the same dashboard you use for mail, so changes related to this don't require a separate system or a phone call to make happen. Most account actions, including plan changes, payment updates, and cancellation requests, can be completed directly online, with confirmations and any resulting charges shown clearly before you commit. If something about your account looks off or unclear, support can pull up your specific history and walk through what's happening rather than relying on general policy alone. The goal is to keep billing and account management as transparent as the mail-handling side of the service.

Important limits

Support cannot change USPS rules, another office’s address rules, or a carrier’s claim decision.
